Conference
Introduction
National University of Lesotho Science, Technology and Innovation Conference (NULSTIC, 2025) will be a convergence of international scholars from multidisciplinary areas under the following main theme:
Towards Education 5.0 - Building entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems for sustainable economic development
Institutions of Higher Learning around the globe are repositioning themselves in their respective economies to make a meaningful contribution and to remain relevant within the changing and dynamic environment. The effect of this repositioning has been a migration from the traditional focus on teaching, research and community service (Education 3.0) to innovation (Education 4.0). As the evolution continues, universities are seeking to advance their innovations to include industrialisation (education 5.0). “Over the past 10 years, the National University of Lesotho (NUL) has worked to reinvent itself as an Entrepreneurial University; a university which practices Education 5.0. …Education 5.0 is meant to create a cyclic and sustainable Innovation Ecosystem that is meant to unleash a strong culture of entrepreneurship within the University and to create millions of jobs across the country and beyond”.
Sub Themes
It is expected that the attending scholars from all over the world will share their basic research findings, lessons, successes and failures as well as policy recommendations in any of the following sub-themes.
